A$AP Rocky just dropped a new track called “Sundress,” which he’s releasing today along with its music video. The song was co-produced by Danger Mouse and it samples Aussie greats Tame Impala’s “Why Won’t You Make Up Your Mind?”
The grainy video, directed by Frank Lebon, plays like a climactic scene in a movie. While the club lights (and the music, too, I suppose) remains in motion but all of the attendees are frozen in action. But it’s not like a meme of old with a Hip Hop track scoring the visual, but rather it follows a tragic falling out between a couple.
