St. Vincent Shares Album Reimagining ‘MASSEDUCTION,’ Video for “Savior” [Dir. Bobcat Goldthwait]

St. Vincent has revisited her previous album, 2017’s MASSEDUCTION, giving it a stripped-down treatment and presented now as MassEducationStream it below.

The new album is a reimagining of last year’s effort, making it something special all on its own. Recorded live in the studio over two nights in 2017, it’s performed entirely by Annie Clark on vocals and Thomas Bartlett on piano. Speaking of the album,  Clark describes the project as “two dear friends playing songs together with the kind of secret understanding one can only get through endless nights in New York City.”

To commemorate the album’s arrival, St. Vincent is also the new music video for “Savior,” directed by the one and only Bobcat Goldthwait. Check that out below.

St. Vincent and Thomas Bartlett of Doveman, who appears in the music video, will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live this Tuesday, October 16, playing select tracks off MassEducation as part of JKL’s annual Brooklyn week-long residence.
