If you ever wondered what Jack White would sound like doing his Debbie Harry impression, well this recently uncovered tape has got something special for you… Third Man Records co-founder Ben Blackwell has shined a light on a cassette made in the late 90s, He Once Ate a Small Child, from a band called 400 Pounds of Punk that boasts none other than a guest appearance from Jack White on vocals for their cover of Blondie’s “One Way or Another.”
For unearthing the track, Blackwell described this finding as “the rarest physical release of a Jack White performance.” Well ain’t that special!
