The internet is a weird place, and it always creates some weird, new things to “consume.” A Twitter fan campaign to get Weezer to cover Toto’s “Africa” has finally achieved its goal, and Rivers Cuomo’s band has now shared its rendition of the 1982 track.
It’s a pretty straight-forward cover, and we can only hope the 14-year-old fan that started this whole thing, is happy with it.
