POD Photos: Big K.R.I.T. at the Metro (4/28)

Big K.R.I.T.’s Heavy Is The Crown Tour came to an end this past Saturday at Chicago’s legendary Metro in Wrigleyville neighborhood. The sold-out crowd was treated to a great opening performance by GOOD Music’s Cyhi The Prynce, where he gave a live rendition of many of his songs off of his debut album, No Dope On Sundays. Shortly after his set, Krit hit the stage and kicked his set off with 4eva Is A Mighty Long Time standout’s “Big Bank” and “Subenstein.”

Like Cyhi, most of the focus of Krit’s performance was on his most recent album. For those fans that wanted to see some of his older material, Krit’s DJ put together a very cool mix midway through his set that covered all the bases. It also gave Krit an opportunity to rest and get back to his very energetic performance. There were plenty of memorable moments during his set but if I had to choose a few it would be his performance of “Confetti” and his closing performance of “Keep the devil Off.”

See some of our favorite moments we captured during Krit’s set below.
