Arctic Monkeys Announce New Album ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’

Arctic Monkeys have formalized their return today with their very classy (peep the comeback portrait above) announcement of their sixth album, entitled Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino on Friday May 11, 2018. The project was produced by James Ford and Alex Turner, and it was recorded in Los Angeles, Paris and London.

This is the band’s long-awaited follow-up to 2013’s AM, an album that breathed some much-needed air to Rock music and we can only hope that Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino sweeps the musical landscape as well.

According to the news release, the LP comes with a gatefold sleeve, lyric and photo booklet and exclusively via the AM Store, on silver vinyl. It will also be available on standard CD, vinyl and digitally. You can pre-order and pre-save the album here.

Arctic Monkeys will be playing in our hometown on the opening night of Lollapalooza 2018. Find fest & headline tour dates below along with their new album’s cover art and additional info.
