The latest episode of Marc Maron’s WTF podcast featured two bassists from two of the biggest bands of the last 30 years. Maron welcomed the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea and Metallica’s Robert Trujillo to his garage, as they pay tribute to the late bass legend Jaco Pastorious, who is the subject of Trujillo’s new documentary.

Also appearing on the episode is man of the hour, Aziz Ansari, who talks to Maron about his hit Netflix series Master Of None.

That very same sound board is the focal point of Grohl’s documentary Sound City, was part of the recording of Nirvana’s Nevermind and recently allowed him to play with Paul McCartney.
