Video: See Drake and Will Ferrell as Handshake Coaches for NBA Awards Sketch

posted by Oscar June 27, 2017

Last night saw the inaugural NBA Awards, which saw Drake host a night celebrating the best of the premier basketball league in the world. Drizzy showed off his comedy chops not only with his opening monologue, but he also participated in a couple of sketches that proved the Canadian rapper got plenty more to offer in the comedy realm beyond “Hotline Bling” memes. The highlight sketch featured Drake and Will Ferrell school some ball players, which included DeMar DeRozan, how to properly react to your team making clutch shots! “The Jenga,” “The Gossip Queen,” and “The Prom” are all fire celebrations that we’re expecting (/hoping) to see this upcoming NBA season. The Obi-Wan might be a stretch tho… See that above.

You can also check out an extras clip with other handshake celebration like the helicopter” and the “Lavar Ball” that are dope, plus a Get Out sketch and a press conference one below. Continue Reading

Video: See Highlights of the ‘Saturday Night Live’ Special – “SNL 40”

posted by Oscar February 16, 2015

This Sunday saw the celebration of iconic institution Saturday Night Live with a massive special called “SNL 40” that lasted over 3 hours. The special invited back many former cast members, past guest hosts, and musicians that helped make the last 40 years something truly special for the show.

We saw great clips of the show’s history, but it was the performances and sketches that were put together for “SNL 40” that made it worth while. See my personal favorite sketch of the night, “Wayne’s World,” above and peep through the other highlights of the night like (second favorite sketch) “Celebrity Jeopardy” and Paul McCartney’s performance below. Video: Will Ferrell vs. Kevin Hart vs. Jimmy Fallon in the Lip Synch Battle

posted by Oscar February 2, 2015

Jimmy Fallon’s lip-synch battles on The Tonight Show have gotten quite a following thanks to pulling together some of the biggest stars on the planet participating in the karaoke-like challenge. The latest celebrities to appear on the segment were the comedians Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell.

The latter really stole the show last night with his selection of Beyoncé’s “Drunk In Love.” I’m not the biggest fan of this bit, but the performance was the stuff of legend and he gave Queen Bey a run for her money. Ferrell also performed the Frozen hit, “Let It Go.”

As far as the other contestants went, Kevin Hart performed John Legend’s “All Of Me” and Katy Perry’s “Roar,” while host Jimmy Fallon picked Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone” and “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” taking it as far as bringing out Drew Barrymore to play the Cynthia Rhodes part for this Dirty Dancing tune.

Video: Will Ferrell vs. Chad Smith [RHCP] Drum-Off

posted by Oscar May 23, 2014

It finally happened, the battle of the celebrity doppelgangers took place last night on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Comedic superstar, Will Ferrell and the Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer, Chad Smith appeared with matching leather jackets, Kiss Destroyer T-shirts, and blue baseball caps worn backwards, talked to Fallon about how their feud came about so of course each one was speaking as the other person.

Then came the moment everyone was there to see: the drum-off! While Smith’s talents gave him the upper hand, Ferrell had Questlove ghost-drumming for him. To cap things off RHCP came out to put on a surprise performance of Blue Oyster Cult’s iconic “Don’t Fear The Reaper,” which is best known to our generation for the “we need more cowbell” sketch that Ferrell made iconic on SNL.

Video – ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’ Trailer #2

posted by Oscar October 23, 2013

A new trailer for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues has surfaced and it’s delivered a much more informative look at the new movie. For the sequel, Ron Burgundy and co. are looking to revive their careers out in NYC only to find out that his “traditional” views on the workforce are facing a much more forward-thinking environment. Seeing them drive an RV to the East Coast is looking funny and I can only imagine the whole scene will be hilarious. Not to mention the scene where Ron Burgundy meets Meagan Good’s character…

Check it out above and you can see another trailer here. Anchorman 2 will be out in theaters this December.
