Nike Soccer Unveils 2017/18 Third Kits for FC Barcelona, Inter Milan, AS Roma, Chelsea, Tottenham

posted by Oscar September 12, 2017

The UEFA Champions League is back!! While a lot of us may take advantage of these dates to start queuing up the iconic theme song (UPDATE), Nike instead has opted for unleashing some new kits for some of the teams in the competition they suit up.

Spain’s FC Barcelona, Italy’s Inter Milan and AS Roma, and Chelsea and Tottenham from the UK, all have new kits announced this week. All the teams listed will be sporting camo designs on their latest jerseys.

Some of the colors have some interesting names and titles. Chelsea’s dark grey shirt has “modern electric blue” features and Spurs will be wearing a dark purple kit “rich yellow” highlights. The cool names for the new colors go to Italian squads, with Inter rocking a thunder blue third kit and AS Roma’s new jersey will be turning heads thanks to their dark velvet brown tone. The big stand-out? That goes to Barça, which is biting Roma’s signature maroon & orange colors for some odd and inexplicable reason… I mean, it looks cool, but still.

Check out images of the new kits below. Continue Reading

Coach Lasso Tottenham Hotspur

Coach Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) was called to England to coach the Premier League’s Tottenham Hotspur, and while it’s still technically football, it’s not exactly what he’s used to. See him try to learn the rules, making connections between Premiership teams and NFL teams (basically the Cowboys), and managing practice for the first time. If you’re into sports, especially fans of soccer, you’ll also see why this is hilarious.

Watch the Premier League on NBC and NBC Sports Network starting Saturday, August 17th.
