Saba feat. Tink – “Temporary” [Prod. by CHAD]

Saba Tink

PI-VOT! Saba has dropped a new gem in “Temporary,” his collaboration with Tink. Saba’s latest was produced by Chad, and its introspective lyrics come at you with potent speed.

Saba told The FADER, who premiered the track, about the making of the song:

“I make a lot of my songs as reminders to myself… I came to Tink knowing what I wanted to say, but not exactly how I wanted to say it. I know the concept of time comes up a lot in my music. The song ‘Temporary’ was really just a note to myself that all suffering is temporary.”

Praises to Tink for helping him come up with this one! Peep the new track after the jump. Continue Reading

Video: Chicago’s Own Tink Is Interviewed & Freestyles on The Breakfast Club….

posted by JuicyJackie April 7, 2015

If you haven’t been keeping up with Tink lately the singer/ rapper just released her newest single “Ratchet Commandments.” Tink talks about her song in the interview and the meaning behind the commandments.  The songstress also released the “Ratchet Commandments” music video that features her legendary mentor Timbaland.  Tink talks about her relationship with Timbaland and what working with him is like. He even said Aaliyah came to him in a dream and said Tink was “the one.”She also talks about her music experience in Chicago from the drill scene to singing.

I actually really enjoyed the interview and really liked how Tink talked about the messages she was trying to give to the people. Tink also delivered a really impressive freestyle! She is often compared to Lauryn Hill, what could be better than a cross between rap & soul? I cant wait to hear what else Timbaland and Tink cook up in the studio.  The Chicago artist is getting ready to drop an album in the summer.
