Queens of the Stone Age

Queens Of The Stone Age helped kick off the new year playing Austin City Limits this past Saturday night., kicking off the second half of the show’s 39th season with a hard-rocking hour-long set.

Their set consisted mostly of tracks from their latest album, . . . Like Clockwork, including “My God is the Sun,” “I Sat By the Ocean,” “If I Had A Tail,” “Smooth Sailing,” and “The Vampyre of Time and Memory.” ACL will have a January 18th broadcast.

Desert Rockers, Queens Of The Stone Age have released a special Live 3-track EP titled …Like Cologne, a collection of tracks featured on their latest album performed live this past September 4th in Cologne, Germany’s Kulturkirche Köln.

The songs are acoustic versions of “Long Slow Goodbye,” “The Vampyre of Time and Memory,” and “I Sat by the Ocean.”

Queens Of The Stone Age and The Creators Project, a partnership between Intel and VICE, have unveiled the interactive video for The Vampyre Of Time And Memory.” The video was directed by Kii Arens and Jason Trucco and designed and developed by Darknet, who’ve come up with a unique approach on music videos and the result is freaking awesome.
