The new video by The National is now available. The band’s visual for “I’ll Still Destroy You” was Allan Sigurðsson and Ragnar Kjartansson, who appears on the video.
The festive music video shows the band performing the track with a golden cloth backdrop as confetti fills the room, while also mixing shots showing a male stripper twirling tassels with his chest and going in circles on a pole.

The National played in Manchester, UK last night and while there they paid homage to the northern English city by performing a New Order song. Matt Berninger and the rest of the crew performed a live cover of “Love Vigilantes” in New Order’s hometown.

The National just released their new album, Sleep Well Beast, on Friday and that same night they appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform a track off the new record.

The National appeared once more on the awesome animated show Bob’s Burgers for a new song titled “Christmas Magic.” The moody track only gets more entertaining when you see an animated Matt Beringer delivering his vocals dressed like an elf but still with all the sincerity in the world (at least as far as cartoons go).
