Slot-A – Don’t Be Afraid of Poison

posted by Alex November 21, 2013

I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who is more dedicated to their craft than Slot-A. The man stays busy producing nothing but quality. Whether it’s DJ’ing, spittin’, producing, or even co-hosting The Hip Hop Project on 88.7 here in the Chi, you can expect Slot to never disappoint. On November 26th, through DJ Booth, he is set to drop an instrumental album entitled Power of Intention. Lucky for all of us, he gave us a taste of what’s to come. Slot flips Bel Biv Devoe’s “Poison” and fuses it with Musiq Soulchild’s “Soul Star” and calls it “Don’t Be Afraid of Poison”. Props to the chemist, Slot-A. Hit the jump and check it out below.
