Here at Pursuit of Dopeness we love supporting Chicago artists. An artist that has always kept our attention with his constant hard work & dope music is Logan. It’s no wonder his tape is named “The New Wave” Logan is on a totally different sound & make his own way in the Chicago music scene. His constant honesty & story telling paint a picture easy for you to see while you listen to his music. I’ve been a Logan fan for quite some time now.. “2 Minute Warning” was my shit; I constantly played it in my car. From then I’ve been excited to hear what he has to say. Not only does Logan provide powerful music.. he delivers one hell of a performance

Logan’s “The New Wave” is a glimpse him and the streets he was raised on. “The New Wave” also features two other POD favorites; Rockie Fresh & Saba.

What happens when two of Chicago’s favorite emcees link up? We get an amazing uplifting song like “Everything’s Alright.” It’s refreshing to see positive tracks that give you reassurance that everything in the world isn’t so bad. Logan and Saba linking up gives us an amazing view of Chicago artists & how they can come together to create great work. The track is perfect to bump on these beautiful days or even when you’re feeling a bit down. The track features production from FlightDidIT & ItsHeadacheBaby. Cover art was done by Benskiaht.
