Video: ProbCause Ft. Donnie Trumpet & KSRA – “Pale Moonlight”

posted by Ellena Rodriguez November 9, 2015

ProbCause has officially released visuals to his jazzy tune “Pale Moonlight” via Yahoo Music. The record comes right off of ProbCause’s latest 2014 project Waves. The EP features a ton of collaborations with artists such as Chance the Rapper, Twista, the Hood Internet, Donnie Trumpet, and KSRA. And now ProbCause has let directors (& my good friends) Danny Farber and Mac Kozi make their music video directorial debut on this dope track.

The new music video matches the record incredibly taking us back in time to Chi’s jazz club scene. The portrayal of the jazz era displays not only a fun night out at the Green Mill jazz club, but also the dark crime-filled nights of Chicago.

I was really impressed with the outcome of the music video and I am looking forward to the many future projects of Danny Farber and Mac Kozi.

ProbCause – “I Feel U”

posted by Oscar July 1, 2015

ProbCause I Feel U

ProbCause is gearing towards dropping his forthcoming Drifters EP and today he delivers his latest cut “I Feel U.” Co-produced by ProbCause himself along with DRO, and it’s a slinky piece of hotness. If I had a convertible (sorry to admit, I still can’t fuck up some commas), this would be on my playlist that I’d want to listen to while driving along Lake Shore Drive with the top down.

Hear “I Feel U” after the jump. Continue Reading

posted by Oscar January 21, 2015

ProbCause and Hologram Kizzie (Psalm One) have connected for a new project as ZRO FOX and today they have delivered a self-titled EP that’s five songs strong.

To give you a bit of insight, here’s an excerpt from the EP’s info section:

ProbCause and Hologram Kizzie (aka Psalm One) have been working together quietly since 2008. Having musician friends in the same circles made it inevitable. They’ve created a steady collection of songs that flirt with so many different genres. After collaborating on the ProbCause releases The Recipe 1 & 2 and Hologram Kizzie’s album Hug Life, they pretty much solidified the need to do an entire project together. Enter ZRO FOX.
