Lollapalooza Paris 2017 Lineup Revealed, feat. Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey

Lollapalooza has expanded the famed French city of Paris for 2017, and today they’ve unveiled their first lineup. The inaugural edition of #LollaParis will take place July 22nd and 23rd at the Hippodrome de Longchamp, with headliner slots going to Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, and Lana Del Rey.

Further down the roster are acts like Alt-J, Pixies, The Roots, The Hives, Liam Gallagher, Skepta, Milky Chance, Bear’s Den, and more.

America’s Best Music Festival has announced its first wave of lineups for the 2015 editions of Riot Fest Denver, Toronto, and Chicago, featuring exciting artists like No Doubt, Modest Mouse, Tenacious D, Snoop Dogg, Iggy Pop, Wu-Tang Clan, and Run DMC.

Chicago’s lineup, seen in the poster above, boasts No Doubt, Modest Mouse, Faith No More, Iggy Pop, Snoop Dogg, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Motörhead, Rancid, Tenacious D, Billy Idol, Ice Cube & Guests, Alkaline Trio, Coheed And Cambria, Taking Back Sunday, Rodrigo y Gabriela and others.

Denver’s edition has Modest Mouse, Pixies, Snoop Dogg, Iggy Pop, Tenacious D, Run DMC, Ice Cube & Special Guests, Rancid, Motörhead, Flogging Molly, Coheed and Cambria, Kongos, Cypress Hill, Alkaline Trio, Thrice, Cold War Kids, Bootsy Collins’ Rubber Band, Yelawolf, Eagles of Death Metal among others!

Toronto’s lineup features Alexisonfire, Wu-Tang Clan, Rancid (performing …And Out Come the Wolves), Motörhead, All Time Low, Tyler, The Creator, Coheed & Cambria, Atmosphere, Drive Like Jehu, Echo & the Bunnymen, Thrice, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Eagles of Death Metal, Against Me! and many more!

Amnesia Rockfest 2015 Lineup feat. System Of A Down, Deftones, Linkin Park, Snoop Dogg

Amnesia Rockfest is bringing out the big guns this year as it celebrates 10 years running one of the best Rock festivals around.

This year’s lineup features a rare appearance from System Of A Down plus Linkin Park, Slayer, Tenacious D, Rob Zombie, Pixies, Snoop Dogg, Bad Religion, Coheed and Cambria and Sublime with Rome. Also on the bill are Flogging Molly, Buzzcocks, Descendents, Gogol Bordello, Melvins, Goldfinger, and Atreyu. Tom Green and Steve-O have also been booked for the fest; see the full lineup above.

Amnesia Rockfest will take place June 18th – 21st in Montebello, Quebec, Canada. Tickets are now available through the festival’s website.

I guess I need to go to Tampa, Florida now! Big Guava Music Fest today revealed this year’s lineup and they got a huge booking in iconic band The Strokes. Joining the leaders of the early 2000s Rock Revival are Pixies, Hozier, Passion Pit, Ryan Adams, TV on the Radio, and James Blake.

Also heading to “The Sunshine State” this coming May 8-9 are Milky Chance, Run The Jewels, and Action Bronson.

Shaky Knees Festival 2015 Lineup feat. The Strokes, Wilco, Pixies, James Blake

I need to go to Shaky Knees Fest this year… And so do you!

The Atlanta, GA music festival has just announced it’s lineup and it a real beauty with the main headliner revealed to be The Strokes. The iconic NYC band will be joined by Wilco, The Avett Brothers, Wilco, Pixies, Social Distortion and Ryan Adams.

Also headed to ATL’s Central Park between May 8-10 are Tame Impala, Noel Gallagher, Neutral Milk Hotel, Interpol, The Black Lips, Milky Chance and Mac DeMarco.

A new Arcade Fire live tribute has surfaced with their latest cover being Pixies’ “Alec Eiffel.” The setting was Mansfield, Mass. and the Canadian band paid homage to the Pixies’s hometown of Boston with this one before breaking into their “Here Comes The Night Time.”

The biggest music festival in the “home country” took place this past weekend with huge performances from the likes of Arcade Fire, The Black Keys, Jack White (playing “Lazaretto” above), Metallica and Lana Del Rey. Some of the other notable names on the bill included MGMT, Sam Smith, St. Vincent, HAIM, Warpaint, and James Blake.

Glastonbury 2014 Lineup adds Jack White, Skrillex, Robert Plant, Chance The Rapper

Today it was announced that this year’s lineup for Glastonbury has added huge acts in Jack White, Skrillex, Pixies, Robert Plant, M.I.A., Danny Brown and (long-time POD favorite) Chance The Rapper, which already boasted the likes of Arcade Fire, Black Keys, Warpaint, Lana Del Rey, Dolly Parton, Disclosure, and Blondie.

The iconic festival takes place from June 25 to June 29 in Pilton, England. Tickets sold out in record time (back in October 2013!) but a resale of canceled/refunded tickets will be held on April 24 (more info here).

Lollapalooza Chile & Argentina 2014 Lineups Include Chili Peppers & Arcade Fire

Earlier tonight (11/4), the headliners for the Chile and Argentina editions of Lollapalooza were announced. The lineups for both festivals will feature Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Arcade Fire, Nine Inch Nails, Phoenix, Pixies, Vampire Weekend, Axwell, and Imagine Dragons. Also set to perform during these South American dates include The Strokes singer Julian Casablancas, Johnny Marr, Kid Cudi and Lorde, among others.

The fourth annual Lollapalooza Chile will take place March 29-30, 2014 at Parque O’Higgins, Santiago and the first edition of Lollapalooza Argentina will take place April 1-2, 2014 in Buenos Aires. It’s Riot Fest (Chicago) week!! I’ve got my 3-day ticket already so I’m really excited for this weekend and the second I saw the lineup I began the countdown to this fest. The organizers have unveiled the daily schedules for Riot Fest & Carnival in Humboldt Park and it’s looking pretty difficult to decide on everything. The basic breakdown of the acts performing each day is in the graphic above and the links to each day’s schedule is listed below.
