Arcade Fire are following up a superb headlining spot closing out Lollapalooza 2017 with some great news for fans… Win Butler, Régine Chassagne and crew have announced that they will be making a triumphant return to Chicago on October 30 as part of their Infinite Content Tour through North America.
This announcement comes after the news that the band’s fifth studio album, Everything Now has entered the Billboard 200 at #1, with sales just shy of 100,000 since its release July 28 through an exclusive 360-degree partnership with global media and e-commerce platform Everything Now in synergy with the Sony corporation. Everything Now has also debuted at #1 on the UK album chart.
For that Chicago date, Arcade Fire has added The Breeders as their support act, while Wolf Parade has been called upon for support on the tour’s September 5 North American opener at Centre Videotron in Quebec City, and Preservation Hall Jazz Band will support September 17 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
