Video: Metallica Live in Antarctica

posted by Oscar December 9, 2013

Veteran Rockers Metallica made history this year by performing in the only continent on Earth it hadn’t yet performed in, Antarctica, for the show now called Freeze Em All (I get it, ha!).  The hour-long set, taking place in a small dome to an audience of 120 people, featured most of the band’s classics like “For Whom The Bell Tolls,” “Nothing Else Matters” and “Enter Sandman.”

The first band to play all continents on this planet did so in true bad-ass form and the footage further proves this show was one the few people in attendance will remember forever. See the full show above (while available).

Metallica – ‘Live at The Apollo’

posted by Oscar October 15, 2013

Metallica Live at The Apollo

One of the biggest bands ever played one of the most iconic venues in America last month (Sept. 21) and now the audio from that show has been made available for purchase. Metallica hit that NYC stage that acts like James Brown and Aretha Franklin made famous, The Apollo, and played a career-spanning “greatest hits” set list that was a monstrous display of the undying talent the veteran band still boasts. The band played songs like “Master Of Puppets,” Nothing Else Matters,” “Enter Sandman” and “Seek and Destroy,” making it a track-list any fan of the band would enjoy.
