New York Red Bulls 2016 Secondary

New York’s first team have released their new Secondary jersey for the forthcoming 2016 MLS season. The 2015 Supporters’ Shield holders’ latest Away shirt will feature a nod to the club’s original name with a MetroStars-inspired neck tape, with the original black and red bars and the “Est. 1996” text.

The yellow from the club’s crest plays a more prominent role, covering the sleeves.

New York Red Bulls 2015 Primary Kit

Now that NYC has a proper city rivalry brewing with NYCFC playing their inaugural season this year, the city will now also be divided in the traditional red vs. blue debate.

New York Red Bulls have unveiled their new 2015 primary kits and it boasts so much more red with a prominent presence on the sleeves; not to mention all the nods to this being a “New York” team. Being one of the charter members of the league — they were originally the MetroStars when they debuted in 1996 — the Red Bulls will also have a “Founding Team” patch on the inside of the jersey behind the crest, as well as an “EST. 1996” on the back neck tape.
