posted by Oscar April 28, 2015

North Coast 2015 Lineup

Big news today from another one of our favorite festivals in the Windy City… North Coast Music Festival has announced its lineup and it boasts The Chemical Brothers as well as D’Angelo and The Vanguard as its headliners. The third main act on the bill was described in the press release as “a very special SURPRISE ROCK HEADLINER” that will be announced on Tuesday, May 12. This is the same fest that brought the very awesome Gary Clark Jr. in 2013, so it’s safe to say that it will surely be another big one this year.

The Dopeness continues further down the poster with The Roots, Atmosphere, Chromeo, Wale, The Glitch Mob, and Steve Aoki also on this year’s roster.

Shout outs to POD favorites The O’My’s and Lili K for also making the list of great artists coming to Union Park this Labor Day weekend (Sep. 4-6). This is another fest we can’t afford to miss this year.

Tickets are on sale now at www.northcoastfestival.com!

*Look out for the “North Coast After Parties” announcement in the coming weeks.

Vic Mensa - INNANETAPE

Hearing the news of the breakup of Kids These Days was a bit devastating for us fans of the band, but the news of Vic Mensa’s venture into a solo career helped make the news a little bit easier to cope with and it gave us something new to get excited for. The first looks at the new project, “Orange Soda” and “Lovely Day,” made this a promising release but hearing it as a whole makes you wonder just how big this guy is about to get.
