TDE Announces ‘The Championship Tour’ feat. Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock

TDE just announced the most important tour of the year. The Championship Tour will feature an all-star cast of TDE members, including Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, SiR, and Lance Skiiwalker. According to the press release, “more to be announced.”

The North American tour will kick off on May 4 in Vancouver and will continue to cities like Seattle, LA, Austin, NYC, Buffalo, and Chicago, before concluding in Pittsburgh on June 16.

It’s the return of Jay Rock! The first ever TDE artist is prepping the release of his third studio album and it’s coming sooner than we think. Today, the Top Dawg emcee released “King’s Dead” featuring Kendrick Lamar, Future and James Blake. The song will also be featured on the upcoming Black Panther soundtrack.

Kendrick Lamar + Vince Staples Collab Track Teased in Trailer for ‘Black Panther’

Two of California’s best exports of the last decade, Kendrick Lamar and Vince Staples apparently cooked up something new together and it can be heard in the new trailer for Black Panther.

The soundtrack for the new Marvel movie will be curated and produced by both K. Dot and TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith. Last week, Kendrick shared “All The Stars,” which features SZA and it’s the first single from the soundtrack.

Black Panther hits theaters February 16, and the soundtrack will arrive the previous week on February 9. Check out the song (within the trailer) above.

Album Stream: N.E.R.D Releases ‘No One Ever Really Dies’

The return of N.E.R.D has officially arrived today as the group has released its comeback album, No One Ever Really Dies.

Their first new album since Nothing was released back in 2010 sees Pharrell and crew connect featured acts like Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar (on two tracks — the other also featuring M.I.A.), Future, André 3000, Ed Sheeran, and Gucci Mane with Wale. Frank Ocean earned a writing credit on K. Dot-featuring track “Don’t Do It!”

U2 feat. Kendrick Lamar – “Get Out of Your Own Way”

After appearing on the Compton rapper’s “XXX” off his 2017 album DAMN., U2 has recruited Kendrick Lamar for their latest song “Get Out of Your Own Way.” The song is the latest release from U2’s 14th studio album, Songs of Experience, due our December 1st, 2017 via Interscope Records in the U.S. and on Universal Canada on CD, vinyl, digital download and across streaming platforms.

Not only are they offering us a new tune, but accompanying that new track is the band’s announcement eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour of North America slated for 2018. The tour will kick off on May 2 in Tulsa, OK, and will proceed to cities like Chicago, Nashville, Montreal, and Philadelphia.
