Jean Deaux has shared her latest song, “Wikipedia.” The Chi singer cooked up somethin extra Funky at Classick Studios, and her soulful vocals sound heavenly with just enough attitude to make a sweet stank face. The tender guitar solo is the perfect touch there at the end.

The Metro stage was graced by Bebe O’hare, Ang 13, Lin-Z, Medicine Woman, Kaina, Jamila Woods and even Chance the Rapper for an affordable ticket that allowed anyone to view this talented showcase. These four are a very talented group. Whether if they’re working on music separately or together.. we’re always excited to hear any of their drops. It’s awesome we got a track with all of them together. They are all truly artists. Kajun slows it down a bit but keeps the smooth flow going. The song shows each artists musical strength. It’s really such a vibey track. I’m loving Smino’s work a lot lately & how he can just switch him his sound so quick.. -Check out his last drop Lemon Pon Goose & vibe to Kajun on time- or way more than that.

Side note: the cover art on this is dope- lol Continue Reading

Smino’s been killing it. There’s not one thing he puts out I don’t like.. that goes for the whole Zero Fatigue team & his beautiful partner in crime Miss Jean Deaux. Smino picked the perfect person to ft. on this jam.. Jean’s voice on Sango’s irresistible beat sounds amazing. Sango also tweeted “I got inspiration from “Dude” by Beenie Man.” This new banger puts summer in full force.  Shawty get ready to order that lemon pon goose & get loose.

So, recently I’ve discovered and dedicated some time to listening to the talented St. Louis Rapper, Smino. I’ve really admired his unique voice and the flow that he possesses. He hops on yet another track produced by the gifted Monte Booker; who just recently remixed Wayne Wonder’s “No Letting Go.” Smino also mentions that it was additionally co-produced by THEMpeople as well! So, that only made it even better.

Jean Deaux – Father Time

Jean Deaux comes back with a new track titled “Father Time.” The song, produced by Tim Suby, is based in House and it’s fucking glorious, but it also blends in elements of Hip Hop and R&B, which doesn’t sound like it could work but it seriously does. The vocals blend excellently with the production, making it a perfect pairing for a nightclub setting.
