Recap: Chicago Nightlife Awards 2015

The 2nd Chicago Nightlife Awards were held last night at the Concord Music Hall and we were part of the lucky few who were present for it all. A great part of the evening focused on what brought us there, the actual awards, but the event also included performances by POD regulars Hurt Everybody and Mic Terror.

On the red carpet we got to see a number of local celebrities and some of the most important industry leaders, and while we were there we caught up with Treated Crew members Holt and Mic Terror. Our girl JuicyJackie interviewed both of them and delivered us some insights on what they’re working on and what we can expect from both holders of the crown. Check out the recap video of the March 7th release party for Mic Terror’s Fresh Prince of Darkness, shot by aWMFilm. We were actually in attendance for this one and needless to say, there were plenty of great moments throughout the night. The video features The Cool Kids (Sir Michael Rocks & Chuck Inglish), Treated Crew (Mano, Hollywood Holt & more), Taylor Bennett, Saint Millie, Hustle Simmons and of course, Mic Terror.

Walk The Moon Set To Play Vitamin Water’s Winter Escape

Vitamin Water is organizing their Winter Escape show and have called on several up and coming artists to provide the entertainment. The show is set for Friday, November 30th from 8:00 PM- 12:00 AM at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Fender Ballroom in Chicago.

That night we’ll be hearing DJ sets from local artists Timbuck2 and Hollywood Holt. Performing live will be Makeshift Prodigy and Walk The Moon.

To attend, you must RSVP by emailing them at vitaminwater@bmfmedia.com. As advised in their announcement, please bring an unwrapped toy for ages 0-14 which will be donated to Ronald McDonald House & Hospital.
