2017 Grammys Nominations Announced feat. Chance The Rapper, Anderson .Paak, Kanye West, Beyoncé

The nominees for the 2017 Grammys have been announced and some of the highlights from this news includes Beyoncé notching 9 nominations including the major categories Album, Song, and Record of the Year, for which she will compete with Adele on all three, Rihanna and Drake each racking 8 nominations, and best of all, our homie Chance The Rapper getting an astonishing 7 nominations that include the coveted Best New Artist plus categories in which he competes with HIMSELF! And while we’re bringing up highlights, how about Beyoncé’s surprise nomination in the Best Rock Performance category for her Jack White collaboration, “Don’t Hurt Yourself.”

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards will be held February 12 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS, with James Corden taking over as host after LL Cool J held the position for the last 5 years.

The 2016 Grammy Winners

The 2016 Grammys just wrapped up and the winners for the night have all been revealed. Top honors went to Taylor Swift, winning Album of the Year for 1989, and Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars getting Record of the Year for the inescapable, undeniable “Uptown Funk.”

One of the coolest moments on this front came with Lin-Manuel Miranda’s acceptance “speech” for whenHamilton won Best Musical Theatre Album. Check out the nominees for The Grammy Awards 2016

With the 58th annual Grammys being only 2 months away, the list of nominations have finally been unveiled and you have to check them out! Today’s reveal of the official nominees came with a lot of surprises.

This year, Kendrick Lamar takes the lead with a total of 11 nominations!!  Taylor Swift along with The Weeknd follow up with being nominated 7 Grammys each. Another great surprise to the list was seeing one of POD’s favorite, Kehlani, being nominated under ‘Best Urban Contemporary Album’ category for her MIXTAPE You Should Be Here.

You can catch the Grammys on February 15th airing on CBS @ 8 PM.

2015 Grammy Nominations Announced

Frank Ocean, Jay-Z & Kanye West Nominated For 6 Grammy Awards

54th_date_vert_hires_cmykFrank Ocean, Jay-Z and Kanye West (“Mercy” was nominated for two Grammy’s!) were nominated for 6 Grammy awards each tonight at the The Grammy Nominations Concert.  Frank Ocean was nominated for the biggest award of the night which was the “Album Of The Year” award along with Fun. and  Mumford & Sons, who were also nominated for 6 awards each.  The Black Keys and Miguel are other notable standouts with 5 nominations a piece.
