Wayhome Music Festival 2016 Lineup Announced, feat. LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, The Killers

Wayhome Fest 2016

The second installment of Canada’s WayHome Music & Arts Festival will be hitting Oro-Medonte, ON from July 22nd to the 24th and today we get to learn the lineup. The headliners are the recently reunited LCD Soundsystem, Canadian icons Arcade Fire, and The Killers.

Also on the bill are Major Lazer, M83, FKA twigs, Future, The Arcs, and Vince Staples. See the full lineup above.

Tickets to WayHome go on sale Tuesday, February 16th at Noon EST. Get them on the festival’s website.

Cage The Elephant, Silversun Pickups, Foals Announce “Spring Fling Rock AF” 2016 Tour

Spring Fling Rock AF 2016

Are you ready to Rock? I sure hope so… Today Cage The Elephant, Silversun Pickups, Foals, and Bear Hands have announced that this year they are joining forces and will embark on the Spring Fling Rock AF 2016 tour.

Spring Fling Rock AF 2016 will start things off in Fresno, CA on March 11 and will wind down on April 1st in Providence, RI at Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, RI. In between all that the bands will also be hitting cities like Sacramento, CA, Tulsa, OK, Buffalo, NY, and more. Sadly, there’s no Chicago show :/.

Tickets for Spring Fling Rock AF will be available for purchase beginning this Friday, January 15th at 10:00 AM-local time. Spring Fling Rock AF is produced by Frank Productions and Goldenvoice.

Video: Foals Cover Florence and the Machine’s “What Kind of Man” for BBC Radio 1

Foals hit the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge and during their session they took on Florence + The Machine’s “What Kind of Man.” The Brits sure gave a fitting tribute with this one, with Yannis Philippakis and company punking it up and intensifying the delivery.

Video: Foals – “Give It All”

Foals connect with Nabil once more for their latest visuals for “Give It All.” The video for the What Went Down song was shot in Paris and stars Jérémie Renier, who plays a man having to deal with the lurking memories of a lost love (Caroline Fauvet).

Foals Shares ‘What Went Down’ Album Sampler

Foals will be releasing their new album at the end of the month and today they follow up releasing singles “A Knife In The Ocean,” “Mountain At My Gates,” and the What Went Down titular track with a sampler of all of the new tracks on the project.

Video: Foals Do Live Cover of Mark Ronson and Tame Impala’s “Daffodils”

Earlier in the week we went back and posted Mark Ronson and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker performing their collaboration “Daffodils” for the Like A Version cameras and today we revisit that song via Foals’ interpretation of it on the same stage.

The UK Rock band hit up Australia’s triple j radio station with their Funk and R&B boots firmly on, evidenced by their spin of the track. See Foals’ rendition of “Daffodils” above.

Foals – “A Knife In The Ocean” (Lyric Video)

Foals have shared their latest cut from forthcoming album What Went Down. The new song is called “A Knife In The Ocean,” which they initially debuted by playing it live on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show and today they have shared the studio version via a lyric video.

Foals Share Virtual Reality Video for “Mountain at My Gates” (Dir. by Nabil)

For their latest release, Foals brought in decorated director Nabil. The visuals for “Mountain At My Gates” are actually a virtual reality offering, the first music video to be filmed using GoPro’s new Spherical virtual reality technology. To partake in this experience, hop on Google Chrome or the YouTube phone app to interact with the content by using a mouse or the A/W/S/D keys.
