Meadows Festival 2017 Lineup Announced feat. Jay Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gorillaz, Future

The Meadows Music and Arts Festival is coming in strong for its second year, with a lineup that has Jay Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Gorillaz as the headliners. Taking place September 15-17 at Citi Field in Queens, New York, the fest will also see performances from Nas, Run the Jewels, Future, Weezer, Migos, Action Bronson, LL Cool J, Erykah Badu, Blood Orange, Broken Social Scene, Big Boi, TV on the Radio, Joey Bada$$, Sleigh Bells, A-Trak, Foster the People, Ghostface Killah, De La Soul, and more.

According to Pitchfork, the festival will stream on Tidal. Tickets at themeadowsnyc.com

Nas and Erykah Badu came together last night to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The pair were the musical guests on the show and while there they delivered a live rendition of “This Bitter Land.”

Tyler, the Creator’s annual music fest, Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, has quickly become one of the staple events of the year and the 2016 seems to follow that idea.

The fest will be taking place November 12-13 in Exposition Park out in LA, Cali. Not only do we get to know the dates today, but we also get to learn the roster too! On the bill along with Tyler himself are heavy-hitters like Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne, Erykah Badu, A$AP Rocky, and ScHoolboy Q; a real who’s who in the Rap game today.

Video: Dave Chappelle Sings Radiohead’s “Creep” at Erykah Badu’s Birthday Party

Dave Chappelle helped Erykah Badu celebrate her 45th birthday and he did so by Radiohead’s “Creep” at her party. It’s no surprise that Chappelle doesn’t have the greatest of singing voices, but it’s still pretty cool to see him do this song in particular along with the fact that Badu and others join in on the singing.

Erykah Badu has shared her new mixtape But You Caint Use My Phone, and it’s now available for download and streaming on Apple Music.

Included in this tape are collaborations with Drake (via her remix of “Hotline Bling“) and a track with former boo Andre 3000 (titled “Hello”). The mixtape will be available for purchase starting December 4th.

Taste Of Chicago 2015


This year’s Taste Of Chicago musical lineup has brought out the big guns with a collection of headliners worthy of competing with the culinary side of the fest. This year’s headliners, performing from Wednesday July 8 through Sunday, July 12, include Weezer, Spoon, and Erykah Badu. Also headlining are The Chieftans and Maze.

Hitting the Bud Lite stage at The Taste during this week are White Mystery and the homies Mike Golden & Friends. See that full lineup here.

Taste Of Chicago 2015 will include FREE main stage lawn seating, but tickets for pavilion seats will range from $15 to $50 when they go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. on the Taste Of Chicago website.

Chao was brought along to play Reggae legend Bob Marley and Erykah Badu voiced Rita Marley.
