Video: Dum Dum Girls – “Rimbaud Eyes”

posted by Oscar April 24, 2014

One of the bands we discovered and enjoyed hearing down at SXSW this year was Dum Dum Girls, who we first heard while in line for Pusha T at the “House of Vans.” Even though we didn’t even get to go in, being in that line at the very least made us hear the Dum Dum Girls and kept us wanting to see what they’d come out with next.

Today we came across the band’s latest video for their song, “Rimbaud Eyes.” This one instantly became one of my favorite videos of the year thanks to the contemporary take on 80’s video production (animation and all) on an 80’s-styled song. The look of these visuals are instantly eye-catching.
