DIIV’s latest album Is The Is Are will arrive on February 5th via Captured Tracks and today the record has been made available as advanced stream via the Guardian.

Is The Is Are will come equipped with 17 tracks, including “Blue Boredom,” their collaboration with Sky Ferreira.

DIIV – Mire Grant’s Song

I hate to admit that it took me a long while to finally check out indie dream pop group DIIV, but better late than never, today I finally broke that streak and gave a listen to their latest offering off forthcoming album Is The Is Are. The song is called “Mire (Grant’s Song),” following up previous releases off this project, “Dopamine” and “Bent (Roi’s Song).”

The song premiered on Mexico City’s Ibero 90.9 FM, and it came paired with a special message that frontman Zachary Cole Smith wrote about the song and shared on the band’s Tumblr.

Pitchfork Festival Full 2014 Lineup [Update]

Pitchfork 2014

The latest music festival to announce their lineup is Chicago’s Pitchfork Festival. Held July 18-20 at Union Park, the three fest headliners are Beck, the recently reunited Neutral Milk Hotel and Kendrick Lamar. Some of the other notable acts to make up the list are Giorgio Moroder, Death Grips, Pusha T and Grimes. See the initial list above and be on the lookout for the rest of the artists when they’re announced in the coming months.

UPDATE (3/20/14)

So the initial list was impressive enough to get people riled up for the festival with the names mentioned in the paragraph above, today we get the official lineup for P4K 2014 and it delivers plenty more for fans to get excited about. Added to the list are St. Vincent, Danny Brown, Schoolboy Q, Earl Sweatshirt, Cloud Nothings, Perfect Pussy, Dum Dum Girls and Twin Peaks.

Tickets for the 2014 Pitchfork Music Festival are on sale now. Three-day passes are available for $130 and single day passes are $60. Get your three-day passes ASAP because they do sell out quickly.
