Video: Daft Punk feat. Pharrell & Nile Rodgers – “Lose Yourself to Dance”

posted by Oscar September 16, 2013

The official video to Daft Punk’s “Lose Yourself To Dance” has finally arrived. Featuring Nile Rodgers and the man behind the biggest hits of 2013, Pharrell, the visuals are very straightforward yet still fun. If you thought the song sounded Disco, the video further plays to your assessment by recreating a 70’s dancing variety show-type performance with the group on a small stage and a crowd of people dancing around them.

The french duo posted a video on Vevo in which they’re in some 80’s-styled control room (with the exact “boop-beep” sounds you’d expect to hear in one of those) and along with showing some of the vinyl packaging, they play a snippet of the opening track, “Give Life Back to Music.” The album is set for a May 21st release and will feature The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas, Paul Williams, and Pharrell, among others.
