Video: Conan O’Brien Performs ‘The Simpsons’’ “Monorail Song”

posted by Oscar September 13, 2014

This weekend The Hollywood Bowl continued its run as one of the most storied venues on the West coast by hosting “The Simpsons Take the Bowl,” a night celebrating the show’s 25th anniversary.  The LA venue hosted of many of the show’s voice actors singing some of the iconic tunes that appeared on the show throughout its 500+ episode history, but perhaps most notably was the inclusion of Conan O’Brien (once a writer and producer on the show), who came on to perform the “Monorail Song” and dedicated his live rendition to Phil Hartman, the original voice of the Lyle Lanley character.

Video: Jimmy Carter Grossed Out Hannibal Buress

posted by Oscar March 28, 2014

We don’t typically share celebrity appearances on Late Night shows if they’re not technically performing, but this one sure warrants a post… POD-favorite, Hannibal Buress was a guest on Conan and shared a story of a time he was on the same flight as former President of the United States, Jimmy Carter and why he was grossed out. I’m not going to step over any punch lines, so I’m going to leave it at that and strongly advise you to press play on the video above.

Video: Conan O’Brien Reviews ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ | Clueless Gamer

posted by Oscar September 20, 2013

As one of the most highly-anticipated games of the year, it makes perfect sense that Conan O’Brien would review it for his series Clueless Gamer. It’s a hilarious clip showing just how bad Conan is at playing games but we also get some looks at the game as well. His review should be exactly what you needed to finally convince you to buy GTA V.

See that video above and get your copy of the new GTA whenever you can at stores near you.

Conan O’Brien has finally published this gem… Conan invited Simpsons writers Al Jean, Mike Reiss, Jay Kogen and Jeff Martin for his latest edition of his series Serious Jibber-Jabber. This was a mini reunion since Conan himself was a writer in the early days of the legendary animated show, and they talked about the early days of the show, their approach to writing for it, their favorite characters to write for, and tell great stories about some of the celebrity guests (Bob Hope, Liz Taylor, Michael Jackson) that appeared on The Simpsons back then.

This may not get too many views and few will sit through the entire 80-minute video (I did) but this is up simply because it’s awesome. For fans of The Simpsons, the world of comedy, and the process and history behind legendary works in entertainment, this is gold.

Comedian Adam Cayton-Holland took his stand-up set to late night, performing on Conan.

Jokes comparing fast food and cancer slogans, education and the quirks of southern people make for a hilarious 5-minute set. See the clip above.
