Chance The Rapper Announces Spring 2017 Tour

posted by Oscar February 14, 2017

3-time Grammy winner, Chance The Rapper is sharing the blessings that keep falling on his lap today and has surprised his fans with the announcement of his Spring 2017 North American tour.

Chano will start things off on April 24th in San Diego, CA and will stay busy on his trek through 36 other dates in cities like Oakland, Austin, Toronto, Montreal, Buffalo, and Charlotte. See all dates in the tour poster below.

There aren’t any details yet on who will be the tour opener(s) and his hometown of Chicago isn’t included on this list, with a suspiciously noticeable gap in August… Lolla perhaps? Another fest at the White Sox stadium? We can only hope there’s something to that.

Tickets go on sale at 7pm ET at ChanceRaps.com Continue Reading

Governors Ball Lineup Announced; feat. OutKast, Jack White, Vampire Weekend

posted by Oscar January 15, 2014

This month’s confirmation that OutKast will be playing 40 festivals this year all but assures the ATL duo will be performing at Lolla this summer, but today’s announcement scratches off from that number as they will be one of the headliners for the 2014 edition of New York’s Governors Ball.

Some of the other featured acts include Jack White, Vampire Weekend, The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas, J. Cole, James Blake, Childish Gambino, and Chance The Rapper. That list looks like the perfect reason to be in NYC next June.

UPDATE: NYC’s The Strokes were announced earlier today (Wednesday, 1/15) as a late addition to the festival. This lineup just got that much more awesome.

The fest will run from June 6-8 on Randall’s Island; tickets go on sale today at 3 p.m. EST here.
