Video: Queens Of The Stone Age – “Blurred Lines” (Live Lounge) [Robin Thicke Cover]

There are two things that are fact. Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” is awesome and incredibly catchy, and QOTSA kicks ass (number 1 album, son!). A few days ago, Josh Homme and the rest of the guys from Queens Of The Songs Age played a live cover of Thicke’s hit single on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge with Sara Cox. The “unplugged” version also included a little “rap” verse in the middle to bring their cover full circle.

Check it out above.

Video: Robin Thicke feat. T.I., Pharrell – “Blurred Lines”

posted by Oscar March 20, 2013

One thing I’m just now willing to admit is that one of my guilty pleasures back in college was Robin Thicke’s music. Now that I’m more open to hearing much more diverse types of music, I can truly appreciate this new track by Mr. Paula Patton featuring T.I. and the always smooth Pharrell.

The video includes the 3 fellas dancing around with a bunch of models doing their thing, which for one’s case involves “wearing” a hand bra. “Blurred Lines” sounds like something a modern Michael Jackson-type would be making, falsetto shrieks and all. The track is funky cool and the video follows that same theme.
