Album Stream: Eminem Releases ‘Revival’

Eminem has released his follow-up to 2013’s Marshall Mathers LP 2 by dropping his ninth studio album today. Revival was previewed with his Beyoncé collab “Walk On Water,” along with “Untouchable.”

Apart from Queen Bey’s appearance on Em’s latest, some of the other featured acts include Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Kehlani, Skylar Grey, X Ambassadors, Phresher, and P!nk.

Eminem Details Forthcoming Album, ‘Revival’

Eminem’s new album is further taking shape thanks to today’s announcement via the Detroit rapper’s social accounts. Em shared the news that Revival will arrive on December 15, and it will include features from Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, X Ambassadors, Phresher, Skylar Grey, Kehlani, and Pink.

Hamilton‘s Lin-Manuel Miranda and Questlove of The Roots have released The Hamilton Mixtape, which brings together various artists to rework songs from the award-winning musical. Some of the artists that contributed to the mixtape are Chance The Rapper, Nas, Alicia Keys, Common, The Roots, Regina Spektor, Busta Rhymes, and Ashanti with Ja Rule.

Watch the ‘Hamilton Mixtape’ Performance Live Stream

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton Mixtape is coming to life today with a live performance at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (where Hamilton is performed). The livestream will kick off at 12pm CT, and it will feature live performances from artists that contributed to the album.

Though there’s no information on who exactly will be playing at the #Ham4Ham celebration, come of the artists featured on Hamilton Mixtape include Chance the Rapper, Nas, Common, Regina Spektor, the Roots, Francis and the Lights, Alicia Keys, Wiz Khalifa, Kelly Clarkson, Riz MC, and others.

I just watched the live production yesterday (that shit was phenomenal), so you know I’m ready to relive it like this. Livestream the show above!

Ashanti and Ja Rule’s contribution to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s The Hamilton Mixtape has dropped today. The latest release off the forthcoming project brings together the Murder Inc. Records labelmates and long-time collaborators for “Helpless.”

The last release of songs from the project included Usher performing “Wait For It,” and “Wrote My Way Out” by Hamilton‘s Lin-Manuel Miranda with Nas, Aloe Blacc, and Dave East.

The Hamilton Mixtape continues to take shape ahead of its December 2nd release, and today sees the release of a couple more songs. The latest release includes Usher’s interpretation of “Wait For It,” plus Hamilton‘s mastermind Lin-Manuel Miranda connecting with Nas, Aloe Blacc, and Dave East for “Wrote My Way Out.”

Video: See Alicia Keys Play an Intimate Show in a Paris Bar

The latest edition of La Blogothèque‘s “Take Away Show” features Alicia Keys, who performed an acoustic set at a bar in Paris for her concert film. The intimate performance had an audience of just 100 attendees fill up Paris’ Le Comptoir Général, back in May of this year. The setlist included “She Don’t Really Care,” “Hallelujah,” “You Don’t Know My Name,” “In Common,” “The Gospel.”

Hear Two New Tracks From ‘The Hamilton Mixtape,’ Including “Satisfied” by Sia feat. Miguel and Queen Latifah

A couple more tracks from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s upcoming Hamilton Mixtape have been unveiled. Sia leads “Satisfied,” with guest features from Miguel and Queen Latifah. The other track is “Immigrants (We Get the Job Done)” and it brings together K’NAAN, Snow Tha Product, Riz MC, and Residente all dropping bars.

The mixtape, which also features tracks from Chance the Rapper (with Francis and the Lights), the Roots, Nas, Wiz Khalifa, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Usher, and Common among others, is due out December 2 via Atlantic.

Lin-Manuel Miranda Releases Two Tracks From Hamilton Mixtape

What a time to be alive. Lin-Manuel Miranda gave us a little taste of what we can expect from him and Questlove’s Hamilton Mixtape by dropping two tracks on iTunes and Spotify. One track features Busta Rhymes, Joell Ortiz and Nate Ruess for the ever so popular “My Shot”. Joell and Busta are the perfect fit for this track as both are gritty and powerful but also drop lethal heartfelt lyrics. Kelly Clarkson is featured on the second track that was dropped called “It’s Quiet Uptown”. Elton John, Alicia Keys, Chance The Rapper Among Performers for Apple Music Festival 10

The lineup for this year’s Apple Music Festival has been released and in it appear Elton John, Alicia Keys, Chance The Rapper, and The 1975 among others.

Apple Music Festival 10 is a concert series, to be held at the Roundhouse in London from September 18-30 and will be available for streaming on Apple Music. Some of the other performers include Calvin Harris, Robbie Williams, and Bastille.
