Joseph Chilliams Releases Debut Album: ‘Henry Church’

posted by Oscar August 24, 2017

Today’s the day we finally get blessed with Joseph Chilliams’ debut album, Henry Church! The Pivot Gang member has long been a POD-favorite since we first saw him bust some moves at Reggie’s many years ago, and our wait for this moment has been completely proved to be worthwhile from the second I pushed play on this project.

Chilliams’ imaginative, quirky, creative bars are the perfect thing to fill your earballs with what will surely be your new favorite sounds.

Henry Church has guest features from fellow Pivot Gang members MfnMelo and Saba plus the late, great dinnerwithjohn, as well as Noname, Supa Bwe, Add-2, and Jamila Woods, among others.

Here’s something new that features the homie, Add-2. Indianapolis producer, Maja 7th linked up with the Jamla Records artist for “The Evils” which features some dope Chicago emcee sampling on the cuts from DJ Metrognome. Add-2  definitely shows off his lethal lyrical skills on the track. “The Evils” doesn’t seem like it’ll be on any project, but you can expect more from Add-2 and Maja 7th. Take a listen to “The Evils” below.  Continue Reading
