Hannibal Buress has unveiled the dates for his upcoming Hannibal Montanabal Experience standup tour. The Chicago comedian will kick off his tour this Friday at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, CT and will continue on to cities in the US and Canada like Boston, Detroit, Cleveland, Vancouver, Calgary, and his hometown of course.
America’s favorite New Zealand comedy duo, Flight Of The Conchords have announced that they will be reuniting and playing a summer tour this year. Following the announcement that they would be performing at the Newport Folk Festival, Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement have revealed more dates for this reunion, performing shows between June 11th and July 27th.

The boys of Broken Lizard, best known for the cult film comedy Super Troopers, will be coming to Chicago with their live one-night comedy extravaganza Meow What? Lizard troupe members Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske, stars and creators of the movies Super Troopers, Club Dread and Beerfest, will appear live in Meow What?: An Evening with Broken Lizard, on Thursday, February 25, 2016, 8 pm at Park West.
Tickets, $25-$45, will benefit Halcyon Theatre, the Albany Park-based Equity theater company. The show is “All Ages;” under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Tracy Morgan is back! After being in a car accident involving multiple vehicles threatened his life, the comedian returned to the spotlight as a presenter at the 2015 Emmys and most recently he hosted last weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live. The full-fledged return continues with today’s announcement that Tracy will be hitting the road for his stand-up comedy tour called “Picking Up the Pieces.”
The tour will kick off right next door to us at The Venue at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN, will then continue to cities Boston, NYC, Honolulu, DC, and Atlanta.
King of the Nerds Chris Hardwick has announced his latest tour, set to run from January to May of 2015. The man behind The Nerdist Empire will be hitting cities like New York, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Seattle as part of his new Funcomfortable Tour.
The Funcomfortable Tour is in preparation for his next stand-up special, the follow-up to 2012’s Mandroid.

The roster for the 2014 edition of the world’s biggest comedy tour boasts Louis C.K., Aziz Ansari, Marc Maron, Bill Burr, Chris Hardwick, Dave Attell, Demetri Martin, Hannibal Buress, Jeff Ross, Amy Schumer, Jim Gaffigan and Sarah Silverman. Some of the other notable acts that are part of this lineup include Jim Jefferies, Julian McCullough, Michael Che, Moshe Kasher, Reggie Watts, Ron Funches, Rory Scovel, and Whitney Cummings.
This year’s festivities include 21 dates in all, kicking off on Aug. 8 at Tampa, Fla.’s MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre and finish off Austin’s Austin360 Amphitheatre. Like last year, Oddball 2014 will include two stages, the return of the Cut Throat Freak Show, a roaming troupe of misfit performers, tasty treats, libations and more. Earlier today, The A.V. Club and The Onion announced that they’ve come together and present the 1st annual 26th Annual Comedy Festival. Taking place June 12-14 at Chicago’s Athenaeum Theatre (2936 N. Southport), they’ve put together a stellar lineup that features Comedy Bang! Bang! Live, Tig Notaro, Kyle Kinane, and Marc Maron.
A limited number of three-night passes will go on sale tomorrow, March 25, at 10 a.m. central; three-night purchasers will have access to the best seats in the venue, and will have the option of sitting in the same seat each night. Tickets for individual shows will go on sale this Friday, March 28, at 10 a.m. central.

Last night, June 12, we caught the @DadBoner and Friends, You Guys show at Stage 773 as part of the Just For Laughs Festival. While we weren’t entirely familiar with the @DadBoner character, we knew about its cult following and felt compelled enough to want to check out what Mike Burns, creator of the character, had in store for this. In hindsight, the turnout for the show did not do it justice but Burns pointed out correctly that once again, as a Michigan man, he’s been “f*cked” by the Blackhawks, this time thanks to yet another nail-biting OT game that kept fans in front of TV screens over being out for a night of comedy.
