Video: See Aziz Ansari Host ‘Saturday Night Live’

posted by Oscar January 22, 2017

Aziz Ansari was last night’s host of Saturday Night Live, featuring Big Sean as the musical guest. Anzari’s opening monologue focused on the biggest news in the country: Trump’s swearing in to the highest position in the country.

Aziz joked about Trump being “basically the Chris Brown of politics,” while adding “and ‘Make America Great Again’ is his ‘These Hoes Ain’t Loyal’” because some supporters pick and choose what aspects of Trump they actually acknowledge to support. He also touched on how certain people should go back to hiding their racism, and finding redeeming factors to George W. Bush’s speech after 9/11.

Check that out above and hit the jump to find Ansari in skits about La La Land and riding an Uber. Continue Reading

posted by Oscar May 16, 2016

Louis CK

Louis C.K. has announced his return to touring standup comedy, hitting the road starting tomorrow in Baltimore and continuing to cities across and even some dates in European like London, Dublin, Paris, and Jerusalem.

Breaking the tour in his newsletter, addressing us as “donut eaters and those who don’t eat donuts (I think that covers everyone),” Louis not only reveals his new tour dates but also goes into his efforts to fight scalpers from buying up tickets that true fans ultimately miss out on. Tickets are typically listed at one price, $50, and are set that way to be as affordable to buyers as possible. Not only that, but Louis and his team are going to extensive measures to prevent his tickets from hitting reseller outlets, going as far as saying that if you buy tickets on Stubhub that those tickets will be unvalidated. Read more after the jump.

Video: Joe List Performs Stand-Up on ‘Conan’

posted by Oscar January 12, 2016

Joe List is the latest stand-up comedian to do a set on Conan. The was pretty damn funny thanks to jokes about his weird relationship and the odd conversations they have, including her knack of not paying him any compliments, his crappy gossiping skills, and the reason why he keeps a picture of her as his screensaver.

Check it out above.

Video: Judd Apatow Stand-Up On ‘The Tonight Show’

posted by Oscar July 21, 2015

Director Judd Apatow was on The Tonight Show last night and performed a little stand-up. The man behind the movies 40 Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up had some funny material about not being famous enough to be easily recognized in the streets and what it’s like to be the nerdy presence to his wife and daughters, but he really lit it up with his bits about what Cosby’s current comedy set must be like.

Watch the hilarious stand-up performance above.

Video: Andrew Santino Stand-Up on ‘Conan’

posted by Oscar February 27, 2015

I never knew of Andrew Santino before seeing this clip but after doing so I’ve gotta say I was really surprised at how much I liked his stand-up set on Conan. Santino’s jokes touched on his love of booze leading to awkward situations with a doctor, why it should be ok to sleep naked, and a conversation he had over the phone that got a little funny because he “didn’t speak France.”

See that above.
