See Saba’s Brilliant NPR Tiny Desk Concert

Ok this one’s got to be one of the dopest Tiny Desk Concerts ever! Chicago’s own Saba released one of the dopest albums this year in Care For Me, and because of the deeply emotional and dark themes of the album, the NPR series proved to be the perfect intimate setting to put some cuts on display.

Accompanied by a stellar supporting cast that featured his Care producing partners Daoud and daedaePivot as well as theMIND, Kaina, and even his dad, Chandlar. The crew together played “Busy/Sirens,” “Logout,” & “Heaven All Around Me/Life.” I really dig the treatment for “Logout,” giving it a more Jazzy vibe and making up for Chance’s absence for that final verse with something new too.

All of this is fire and it was a major statement in support of how far in the game Saba will go. See the super dope set above.
