POD Photos: BØRNS at Paramount Theatre (10/17)

BØRNS’ two-month Fall tour (September/October) included a stop in one of Seattle’s most glamorous and aesthetically-pleasing music venues, the Paramount Theatre. Whether it was his management that requested the specific venue, or Seattle Theatre Group (the non-profit organization in charge of the Paramount) that made sure he perform there, someone, somewhere, deserves props — A real musical theatre could not have suited BØRNS any better.

Everything from his on-stage fashion sense, to his electropop chart-toppers, to his demeanor on stage, make it clear that BØRNS was born to be a showman. Performing songs from his breakthrough album ‘Dopamine,’ fresh tracks off 2018’s ‘Blue Madonna,’ and a fan-favorite cover of “Bennie and the Jets” by the one and only Elton John, BØRNS makes us feel bitter about the fact that his tour is only two months long.
