POD Photos: ScHoolboy Q & Black Dave at House of Vans Chicago (9/14)

The first of three Share The Stage shows went down this past Friday at the Chicago House of Vans venue. It is a pretty cool opportunity for unsigned artists to rock the stage with someone at the caliber of Q and the selected opener for the Chicago show, Black Dave, definitely took full advantage of the situation. His set was very energetic and had the crowd into his set the entire time. A definite highlight of his performance was his tribute to Mac Miller and other artists we have lost in 2018.

Leading up the show, I wasn’t sure if ScHoolboy Q would be in attendance due to the tragic passing of his good friend Mac Miller. ScHoolboy Q did in fact show up and credited the crowd with helping him deal with the sad situation. My favorite part of Q’s performance was when he started taking requests of songs to perform midway through his set. If you’re in Guangzhou or London, you still have time to RSVP for the upcoming Share The Stage shows.
