The Struts – “Primadonna Like Me”

Not long since capping off their run of support dates for the Foo Fighters, The Struts are back with something new. Today they’ve unleashed “Primadonna Like Me,” the latest cut from forthcoming sophomore album.

The Struts lead singer Luke Spiller said in the press release: “’Primadonna Like Me’ was written about my stage character, my alter ego… It’s this completely deluded guy running around his small town, all dressed to the nines—a full-on 21st century dandy going around saying, ‘Don’t you know who I think I am?’”

I saw him at their Wrigley Field appearance, and if you were there for that performance too, you’d know exactly what he’s referring to here and you would’ve seen how much he was feeling this tune. Hear it below.

The British band will returning to the road for a fall headline tour. The Body Talks Tour kicks off September 21st at St. Andrew’s in Detroit (see below for complete itinerary). Tickets are on sale now. Visit thestruts.com for more info.
