Preservation Hall Horns, RAM, and Arcade Fire Release Theme Song To Inaugural Krewe du Kanaval

In the lead-up to the inaugural Krewe du Kanaval taking place Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in New Orleans, the Preservation Hall Horns, RAM and Win Butler and Regine Chassagne of Arcade Fire have come together on “Ann Ale! (Let’s Go!),” the theme to Krewe du Kanaval. The theme song was released today via www.kanaval.org.

“Ann Ale! (Let’s Go!)” was recorded in New Orleans last week and serves to embody the spirit of Krewe du Kanaval, which celebrates a new mobile music event and celebration of Haiti and the diaspora of cultures that have enriched New Orleans’ identity and arts.

The music was written by Win Butler and Regine Chassagne, with lyrics by Win Butler, Regine Chassagne, and Richard Morse. The song was produced by Win Butler, Regine Chassagne, and Eric Heigle, and mixed by Craig Silvey with Win Butler and Eric Heigle.
