SZA has made her Saturday Night Live debut as the musical guest with last night’s broadcast of the James Franco-hosted episode. The TDE singer appeared on SNL to deliver electric performances of her stand-out CTRL songs “The Weekend” and “Love Galore.”
SZA was backed by a gospel choir and a live band that, if my eyes serve me right, featured SoX member Stix and Carter Lang. This scintillating appearance was the icing on the cake for a year that really saw SZA blossom into a true star.
