POD Photos: The Weeknd’s ‘Starboy: Legend of The Fall World Tour’ in Chicago

The Starboy: Legend of The Fall World Tour finished off its American dates in our hometown of Chicago and we were part of the lucky few to be in attendance that Thursday night at the United Center. The Weeknd’s ascension was put on full display that night as the Starboy himself was received by an incredible reception from a fervent crowd that sang along to his every word from the second he hit the stage. He may have achieved Pop success, but this is still the Abel Tesfaye that came up with mixtapes filled with sex, drugs, and dark themes, and this crowd very much looked like they’ve been along for the entire ride that has been his career so far.

A simple catwalk running down the arena floor allowed The Weeknd to stroll and dance amongst his fans, as a sort of spaceship hung above him and beamed lights and lasers to illuminate his performances of songs like “Starboy,” “Often,” “Crew Love,” “Angel,” and “I Can’t Feel My Face.” Popping up from underneath the stage for “The Hills” as the encore was especially dope considering Chicago’s own Mano is the producer of the heavy track.

S/o to Gucci Mane, Nav, and lil PANDA too for hyping the crowd as they helped open the night’s show.
