The Smiths will be releasing a deluxe reissue of their 1986 album The Queen Is Dead, due October 20 on Warner Bros. To help build the anticipation for that release, the band have unleashed a previously unreleased demo for “I Know It’s Over.”
The track includes slightly different lyrics, but the delicate buildup to its big finale remains intact. Hear the “new” demo below.
