Don’t Sleep: 10 Underrated Songs of July

Jay-Z, Tyler the Creator, and even 21 Savage decided to drop music this month taking the industry by storm every week. Often times when many high profile artists drop music lesser known acts slide under the radar without the proper attention they deserve. Being that July was another great month overall for rap, here are 10 rap songs that may have flew under your radar and need to be played before we close the door on July 2017. Listen below.

Mortuary – Twista feat. Vic Spencer

 Twista decided to drop a another great new album this month adding to his strong catalog. This track specifically stood out, as he collaborated with one of Chicago’s hardest working rapper Vic Spencer on this. Both do their thing over this beat and make for one of the best songs off the project.

Time Don’t Wait – Xavier The Trill feat. Qari & Kahrion (A GreenSLLIME Production)

One of the most unique songs of the month came from Xavier the trill, who is accompanied by Qari and Kahrion on the track. This track samples “No Flockin” by Kodak and elevates this track to incredible heights with beats, bars and deliver all being at top level.

Long Live The Kings – feat. King L (Prod. by Mulatto Beats)

July was a big month for mulatto beats as he gave us his highly anticipated album “.22 Summers”. This track was one of the best off the album, as Mulatto gives King L one of his best beats and turns this track into a straight anthem.

Switch Places – Cousin Stizz (Prod. By Tee-Watt)

Boston Rapper Cousin Stizz dropped his highly anticipated album “One Night Only” and continued his reign as one of the best rappers out of the east coast. This track in particular was one of the best off the project as producer “Tee-WATT” serves up a fire beat for Stizz to make one of the best intros of 2017.

Statik Selektah and Joey might be one of my favorite producer x rapper  combinations in the rap game and Luckily they decided to give us more quality new music this month. Like always Statik provided the soulful beat for joey to go crazy over and yet another hit was created from these two.
