Arcade Fire Release New Song/Video: “Electric Blue”

Arcade Fire keep unrolling their new project, Everything Now, delivering today new song “Electric Blue” along with its music video. The band’s latest offering, the fourth and final advance track, stars Régine Chassagne on lead vocals comes equipped with an almost-childish weep accenting the beat, as a 90s. The song premiered today via Apple Music as Zane Lowe’s World Record on Beats 1.

In the visual we find Chassagne roaming the streets as a cleanup crew collects waste on a boulevard in metro area, in the aftermath of a Mardi Gras parade where you’ll find all kinds of trash and colorful bead necklaces adorning the pavement. The hazy video also takes good advantage of the flashing lights coming from the official’s vehicles, helping Chassagne shine bright as she performs the song. Check out the video above.

Everything Now will be released July 28 on CD, cassette, digital download and heavyweight black vinyl LP through an exclusive 360-degree partnership with global media and e-commerce platform Everything Now in synergy with the Sony corporation.

Along with the album’s title track, “Creature Comfort” (available in both Official and Official Official versions), and “Signs of Life,” “Electric Blue” can now be streamed, downloaded, and is available with pre-orders of the new album. The video for “Electric Blue,” shot in New Orleans during Mardi Gras season can be seen at http://smarturl.it/ElectricBlueVideo.
