MUSE Release New Single/Video “Dig Down”

MUSE have returned today, and they’ve delivered their new single “Dig Down.” The track, which was co-produced by Mike Elizondo and Muse and mixed by Spike Stent, has anthemic vibes with quite the Industrial feel to it. The lyrics are inspiring as well, hitting themes of unity and survival.

The single was released with its accompanying music video, which personifies those same themes in an action-packed Sci-Fi mini-film that shows the lead character having to fight back against a “Big Brother” type being. The video was directed by Lance Drake and features Lauren Wasser.

Lead singer Matt Bellamy said in a press release:

When I was writing this song, I was looking to counteract the current negativity in the world and give inspiration, optimism and hope to people to fight for the causes they believe in; that as individuals we can choose to change the world if we want to.”
