Kendrick Lamar Announces New Album ‘DAMN.’ and it feat. U2 and Rihanna

Kendrick Lamar has revealed today the name of his forthcoming album and it’s titled: DAMN. The King of Compton let the Hip Hop world know on comeback track “The Heart Part 4” that “Y’all got till April 7 to get y’all shit together” and on that day he announced the April 14 release date for the album (via Aftermath/Interscope/Top Dawg).

With posts to his social accounts, Kendrick not only unveiled the cover art but also the tracklist, which shows that there are only two featured acts on the record. Rihanna will appear on “Loyalty” and, extremely surprisingly, U2 features on a song called “XXX.” This follows last week’s update with the album’s credits which showed that Mike WiLL Made-It, BADBADNOTGOOD, the Alchemist, DJ Dahi, “J. Blake,” Sounwave, and Kaytranada are among the other contributors.

The countdown to April 14th just got us more anxious with these details, and Friday couldn’t come any faster! See the tracklist below.
