The 2017 lineup for the Brooklyn installment of Afropunk has been announced. The roster for this year includes Soul II Soul, Sampha, Thundercat, Kaytranada, Dizzee Rascal, Gary Clark Jr., Macy Gray, SZA, Serpentwithfeet, Sango, The Cool Kids, and Kevin Abstract. The critically-acclaimed fest will take place August 26-27 at Brooklyn’s Commodore Barry Park in Fort Greene. See the lineup below.
Along with still offering the general paid ticket, the festival also has an earned ticket program. The earned ticket program, called AFROPUNK ARMY, gives fans the opportunity to volunteer for admittance.
