Pitchfork Music Festival 2017 Lineup Adds Vince Staples, Angel Olsen, Danny Brown, Joey Purp, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic

Ay-ooooooh! Friday is a little bit more Dope now with the release of the 2017 Pitchfork Music Festival lineup! Following the announcement of its headliners LCD Soundsystem, A Tribe Called Quest, and Solange, today we get the rest of the roster.

Added to the lineup are POD-certified dope artists like Danny Brown, Angel Olsen, The Avalanches, Vince Staples, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Jamila Woods, Joey Purp, Madlib, Isaiah Rashad, NE-HI, and Weyes Blood.

Also playing the Pitchfork Music Festival are notable acts like Dirty Projectors, Thurston Moore Group, PJ Harvey, Nicolas Jaar, Francis and the Lights, Cherry Glazerr, Ride, and American Football.

As previously announced, this year will feature a special collaboration with Saint Heron, the innovative label and arts platform founded by Solange Knowles. The Saint Heron-curated event series will feature an onsite art installation, film screening, artist talks, late night jazz jam sessions, and more, taking place at various locations throughout Chicago from Thursday, July 13th through Sunday, July 16th. As of today, ticket prices have increased to $75 a day, and $175 for a three-day pass. Additionally, the Pitchfork +PLUS upgrade is available for $365 for a three-day pass.
